About Meghann Ridley, M.S., CCC/SLP
Executive Function Coach | Speech-Language Pathologist
Meghann has over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with a variety of spoken and written language disorders and executive function challenges. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English Literature, with a concentration in creative writing, from Skidmore College. Meghann attained her Master’s of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology along with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Literacy from Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Professions. Additionally, she has completed workshops in mindfulness and meditation for children and teenagers. She has clinical experience in the private school, hospital, private practice, and public school settings.
Meghann has a particular passion for working with high school and college-age students who struggle with executive functions, emotional regulation, social pragmatics, writing, and literacy. She believes her own educational experiences provide her with a unique skill set to develop students’ communication abilities, particularly in writing. With her colleagues, she has designed materials and workshops for educators and parents that focus on strategies to break down assignments and build up self-esteem so that all students can experience success in the classroom and live happier lives. She brings an upbeat and compassionate style to her work and is able to foster meaningful connections with each of her students.
After living and working in the greater Boston area for over a decade, Meghann is excited to return to her home state of Maine and give back to the place that gave her so much growing up. When not at her office, you will usually find her at the beach with her toes in the sand…rain or shine!
